What to donate?

Only reusable laptops, phones, and tablets can be converted into funds for charities. In general, functional devices that are less than seven years old have reuse value and are accepted for donations.
DonorConnection is not a recycling company. Please recycle non-functional devices locally.

Laptop Reuse Criteria

  • Less than seven years old.
  • No cracked glass.
  • It must be functional (the computer must boot up).
  • Missing hard drive is OK.
  • No operating system is OK (The hard drive can be wiped).
  • No charger is OK.

    • Smart Phone Reuse Criteria

  • Phone is less than five years old.
  • iPhone or Samsung only.
  • It is not user account locked, such as iCloud locked, Factory Reset Protection or Activation Locked.
  • No cracked glass.
  • No swollen or dead battery.
  • No charger is OK.

    • Tablet Reuse Criteria

  • Apple tablets less than five years old.
  • Android tablets less than three years old.
  • It is not user account locked, such as iCloud locked, Factory Reset Protection or Activation Locked.
  • No cracked glass.
  • No charger is OK.
